FARM HAND KILLED FAMILY

Charles Bannon, aged 22, who confessed he was the slayer of six members of a family named Haven, was taken from the country gaol in Schaffer, North Dakato, and lynched from a bridge beam. Bannon worked as a farm hand. He quarrelled with Mrs. Haven and then killed the family one after another and buried the bodies in various parts of the farm on which he continued to work, telling the neighbours the Havens had gone on a visit to California.
