Replying in the House of Commons to a question, Mr. Philip Snowden said the annuity payable _to the United States Government this financial year under the debt funding agreement represented 3.6 per . cent, of . the capital outstanding at the beginning of the financial year. Corresponding figures in the case of the French and Italian debt settlements with the United States were approximately 1 per cent, and .7 per cent, respectively.
