WEDDINGS.

The Presbyterian Church, Ingjewood, which was artistically decorated for the occasion by Aliss Corney and friends of the bride, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday when the Rev. Keenan officiated at the marriage of Jessie Isabel,, second daughter of Mr. and Airs. N. McMiilii.il, Waipoao, Gisborne, and niece of Airs. J. W. Simmons, Tarata, co Daniel James, eldest son of Airs. Aluir, Tarata. The bride, who entered the church with her uncle, Air. Simmons, to wedding music played by Mrs. Gibbs, Inglewood, was gowned in an aiikle-length frock of ivory satin crepe de chine with fish net yoke, sleeves and hem. Her long tulle veil fell in graceful folds forming a train, and was held in place with sprays of orange blossom. Her bouquet, which was arranged in an artistic posy encircled with tulle with long streamers and silver ribbon, was the work of Mrs. Wallach, New Plymouth, and was composed' of pale pink lilies, carnations, sweet peas and gypsophila. In attendance as bridesmaid was Aliss F. Corney, Norfolk Road, Inglewood. Iler reseda green crepe de chine frock was smartly cut and her beige hat toned well with the remainder of the ensemble. Her bouquet of scarlet gerberas carnations sweet peas . and dahlias with scarlet ribbon contrasted pleasingly. The bridegroom's brother, Air. Alec Aluir, was best man. The present to the bride was a necklet of pearls, and to the bridesmaid a necklet was given, this latter being in the shape of three strings elapsed at the back and forming one. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in navy crepe de chino with fawn hat. After the, ceremony a reception was held in .the Presbyterian hall, Airs. Simmons, in the absence of the bride’s parents, receiving the guests. She wore a pretty mastic and navy frock with navy ballibuntal hat. Among the guests were friends from Waitara, Brixton, Hasvera and the surrounding districts. Later Air. and Airs. Muir left; amid a shower of-confetti. The bride’s travelling frock was a pretty navy crepe do soeile witli hat to match. Their future home is to be at Tarata.
