Airs. L. Furrie has returned from a holiday in Hawke's Bay and'Rotorua.

Airs. Satchel], Nelson, who has been staying with her daughter Airs; Reg. Kay, returns to Nelson on Saturday.

Airs. Clouston, Wellington, is staying with her mother, Airs. O. Curtis.

Aliss Nora Thorpe returned to New Plymouth on Friday.

Aliss Beswick has returned from a holiday spent in Christchurch.

Mrs. Beale, Auckland, and Aliss Joyce Beale visited Stratford on their way to Marton during tlie week.

Airs. A. K. Chisholm, Wellington,’ is spending a holiday with Aliss Blick, Craig Street.

Airs. H. E. Nowell and family (Ngaere) are ou a motoring tour to Kawhia, Arapuni and the Waitomo Caves.

Airs. M. W. Beattie and family (Stratford) have 'taken a cottage at Ngamotu beach for several weeks.

Bridge hostesses during the week were Airs. CresswelJ, Airs. Glasgow and Dr. Doris Gordon.

Alesdames J. C- Allen, H. Bishop and S. A. Ward, who had been spending holidays at. Ngamotu beach, have returned to Strdtford. ■

Aliss Constance Stanford, who has been the guest of Miss Wilson, S. Alary’s school, returned to Wanganui on Friday.

Airs. D.‘ Malone, Miss Alaldne and Aliss Molly Malone have returned from a holiday- at Rotorua arid the Tongariro National Park.
