IMPROVING WEATHER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be cool and changeable with showers at times in most districts. An improvement is ,however, probable to-morrow. The series of westerly depressions appears to be coming to an end for the time being and the barometers are rising in New Zealand with the approach of an anti-cyclone from Australia. Strong north-west to west winds are probable north of West|port and Kaikoura; elsewhere freshening south-westerlies gradually becoming general. Seas will be moderate to rather rough’ but improving to-morrow.
