At the wool sales to-day. 10,556 bales were offered, 9951 bales being sold and 903 disposed of privately. There was good competition between Yorkshire, Japan, Germany, Italy and France. Values were very firm and occasionally 5 pe- cent, higher. Greasy Merino made 16d a lb.
