AMPUTATION OF LEG AWY'I-SED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 7.30 p.m. London, Jan. 13. Mr. A. J. Cook, secretary of the Coal Miners’ Federation, has been taken ,to hospital owing to leg trouble arising from a coal mine accident when he was a young man. The doctors advise amputation but Mr. C-ook has not yet consented!
