By Telesraph—Press Assn.—qopyrisrht.

Rec. 10.30 p.m. , Melbourne, Dee. 22. Mr. J. M. Forde, ariting-Minister of Markets, says the Federal Ministry has given no consideration to the withdrawal .of the .sugar embargo nor?to a reduction of the price of sugar. He added that he thought it would be readily understood-that 'to cancel the embargo against the importation of black grown sugar would mean wiping out the Australian sugar industry, which was worth £10,000,000 ji year. No Government would stand such a thing. . Mr.- Forde expects to receive .the .report of the committee which has been investigating the sugar industry' within two months.. - « . ; -i?
