CHAMPIONS’ REQUEST IGNORED; LINDRUM NOT IN CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph— Press Assn.—-Copyright. London, - Dee. 5. Lindrum, McConachy, Davis and Newman have requested the Billiards Association Control Council to adopt a napless cloth and to consult ' them regarding the financial terms of the English championship. Both requests were ignored, and consequently Lindrum and Davis announce thatthey are not competing in the championship.
