GOLF AT WAIWAKAIHO
PLAY M ON THE NEW COURSE. The fine entry of well over 30 players in the medal handicap at Waiwakaiho ou Saturday shows, that membprs intend playing through the summer in increased numbers. The event marked the unofficial opening of the new course, and though some of the fairways were inclined to be rough the greens played surprisingly well. C. R. Corfe and A. L. Humphries tied for first with nett 74’s—both fine performances under the new conditions. Following are the best cards returned:—
