"It was like a bar,” commented Mr. Oi,' Walker, S.M., during the hearing of a cause in which Albert Wallis appeared. ■ on three charges of selling liquor without a license, one of exposing liquor, and three of consenting to the consumption of liquor on the premises on which it ' was sold. 5 The police stated, that, in a raid, 534 bottles of beer, some five and ten gallon kegs of beer, parcels of whisky, cider, 1 wine and brandy were seized. . Defendant was fined £lOO on the first of the selling charges and ordered to pay costs on the charge of exposing. The charges of consenting to consumption were withdrawn.
