ACCIDENTAL FALL ASSUMED
DEATH OF WELL KNOWN JOCKEY.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. An inquest concerning the death of Benjamin Kinsman Deeley, aged 48, a well known jockey, who was -found in a state of collapse at’ his house .in Greenlane early on Thursday morning ami vied in-the Auckland hospital some ligu.s later, was opened by the coroner, M- F. K. Hunt, S.M. Medical evidence was not taken, but a police report stated that it was supposed the cause of death was fracture of the skull’’and cerebral haemorrhage following an accidental fall. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
