PROFITABLE INVESTMENT.
An investment of one shilling made six 'years ago is today worth £lO,OOO. Contrary to a general’ rule at the Curran Theatre, “The Crimson Hour” will played Sunday' nights during the San Francisco engagement. According to Belasco and Curran, producers ‘ of the ShipmanHymer drama, “The ■ Crimson Hour” has drawn a large attendance than any preceding attraction ■ this season.! Miss Frederick is not as a rule in favour of the Sunday night performance, but the marked favour with which she is being received here has moved her to make an exception. “The Crimson Hour” is a story of to-day,; with Miss Frederick in the role of a' brilliant, poised, yet wholly feminine attorney.
