When the" steamer Ballarat arrived today detectives went aboard to investigate robberies of money and jewels valued at £lOO while the vessel was at Colombo. One of the victims is Major Greenstreet, Christchurch, New Zealand, whose loss amounts to £7O. The defectives’ quest was unsuccessful.
