HEARTBROKEN MOTHER DIES
SUICIDE "WHILE DEPRESSED, By Telegraph.—Press Association. ■ ' Auckland, Dec. 3. .Hcart-brokdn by the death: of her daughter two years ago Mrs. Ivy Winified Sheppard committed suicide at her librae yesterday afternoon. It. was stated at the inquest that’the woman had been depressed -since her ’ daughter’s death. She used to visit the cemetery twice weekly, spending hours'beside the grave. The verdict was returned that death was due to gas poisoning while the woman was depressed.
