CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

PRINCE VISITS PATIENTS. :i ~ y London, Nov. 19. The Prince of Wales visited the Children’s hospital, in Great Ormond Street, London, for the purpose of inaugurating an appeal for £500,600 for rebuilding the institution. He spent half-an-hour walking round the wards and chatting and jesting with the tiny inmates. The Prince received a pink carnation from a four-year-old girl. Percy Coy, aned 2%, burst into tears as a flac*!light photograph was taken. The Prince walked to his cot and petted and consoled the child.

Later, in a speech, the Prince pointed out that, in 80 years, the hospital had treated more than 1,000,000 children. He urged people to be generous.
