JUBILEE OF TE AROHA
CELEBRATION BY THE PUBLIC. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Arolia, Last Night. The Te Arolia jubilee celebrations were continued to-day when the pioneers of the district were entertained at a garden party in the Tourist Domain. The Hon. A. J. Stallworthy represented the Government and addressed the gathering. Messrs. C. E. MacMillan and F. Lye, M’s.P., also spoke. _ Many old identities have been attracted from different parts of the Dominion and throngs of people were in the streets and public gardens. The main street was brilliantly illuminated in the evening, the people entering whole-heartedly into the celebrations. To-night old identities are being entertained at a song and story evening.
