CLUB NIGHT AT BATHS
FITZROY AGGREGATES COMMENCE. There was a fair attendance at the Fitzroy Surf Club’s meeting at the New Plymouth baths last night. The first races of the club aggregate competitions were swum and younger members were coached. The events resulted:—
Men (331-3 yards).—W. Toomey (scr) 1, C. Plumtree (Isec) 2, R. Clayton (scr) 3. The seven competitors finished in a bunch. Ladies (33 "1-3 yards).—Miss J. Richardson 1, Miss J. Charters 2, Miss C. Marsh 3.. Boys (331-3 yards).—J. Spedding I, Leo Bennett 2, Ewett 3. Girls (33 1-3 yards).—D. Cock 1, G. Lightband 2, J. Davidson'3. The aggregate'races will be continued next Tuesday night when the races for men and girls respectively will be:— Senior, 66 2-3yds, 50yds; intermediate, 50yds, 50yds; juniors, 33 l-3yds, 331-3 yds. ... -
