PUBLIC INSPECTS MONOWAI
FLUNKET SOCIETY RECEIVES 'S3S, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 2. The Monowai, which is replacing the Tahiti in the Pacific mail service, was thrown open to the public yesterday at a charge of 6d a head, the proceeds to go to the plunket Society. As a result of this action by the Union Steamship Company the society benefits to the extent of about £33, 1400 people hav’ing gone on board.
