About three years ago the Domain Board set to work energetically, to effect further improvements and the land was stumped, cleared and fenced ’and a belt of shelter trees planted completely around the area. To-day theland is growing a splendid crop of grass which is ready to be cut for ensilage. A metal roadway was constructed to. the entrance, a j distance of about 20 chains, from the main road and turnstiles were made to allow pedestrians to enter. . . , ’ . c The domain, the grazing rights ot which are leased, has been thrown open to the public.
