Mr. Arthur Henderson, in reply to * number of questions regarding the statements made in reference to the British Government during the trial proceeding in Moscow, said he had mad© a careful examination of a full translation of. the documents issued by the Soviet Government, . “Tho British Ambassador in Moscow has accordingly, onxlny instructions, in* formed th© Soviet Government,, insofar as the comments of the public prosecutor on the depositions made by the accused have been accepted officially by the Soviet Government, that I take exception to the passages which contain ad« verse and unfounded reflections upon the late and present Governments,” said Mr, Henderson. : ••.'. Illuminating commentary on the trial of the professors at .Moscow is the revelation that Ryadushinski, Whom Ram?in declared was the principal intermediatary in 1927 in arranging French eo-pperation against the Soviet, died at Paris in 1924. The disclosure is rather embarrassing to the prosecutor, as it discounts most of Ram?in’s evidence.
