ALTERCATION AT ONEHUNGA
CHARGE OF ASSAULT FOLLOW S. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Dec. 2. As a sequel to the altercation at Onehunga last night Frederick William Hardwick was charged to-day with assaulting Charles Royal Porter so as to cause bodily harm. The police said it was allgcd that Hardwick struck Porter with an iron bar. There had been domestic discord. Porter may be a long time in hospital. , ; Hardwick was remanded on bail.
