AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TOUR
THE TEAM FOR NEW ZEALAND. , u PROMINENT PLAYERS INCLUDED. By Telegraph —Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The New Zealand Cricket Council has authorised Mr. Arthur Sims, now in Australia, to negotiate with the Australian Board of Control for a visit of an Australian team, leaving Australia on March 6. It is almost certain the following players will be included: Bradman, Jackson, Richardson, Mailey, Rigg, Allsopp, Harris, Oldfield and Grimmett, and probably Woodfull and Ponsford. If arrangements can be concluded two matches against New Zealand can be played before the New Zealand team leaves for England.
