GENERAL ITEMS. Owing to the greens being too wot for play on Thursday the bowling match against Tariki was not played. ■ Eltham was unable to send a cricket team to play Inglewood on Thursday sd the match-was forfeited. The Inglewood swimming baths will be opened lor the season on Monday. To-morrow being St. Andrew’s Day, the Patron Saint of the Inglewood parish church, special services will be held throughout the day for the parishioners to celebrate the festival. The preacher at the evensong service will be the vicar of New Plymouth, Canon' E. H. Strong.
