Ben Jones, flying a mail plane across New Jersey, went into a tail-spin at 7000 feet and crashed through the roof of an unoccupied house. The wings and tangled fuselage hung suspended from the front porch.. . > Jones was hauled out by firemen, who found his only injury to be a deep cut in the chin. The engine plunged through two floors to the cellar.
