At the host of Is. passengers' by the London and North Eastern Railway, between King’s Cross and Leeds will henceforth be able'to while away their time listening, to «a broadcast wireless programme! A headphone is attached to everyjsea-t in both classes. A bnef trial run to-day demonstrated the advance of wireless aboard trains since experiments began in 1924. Programmes from London and Paris were heard very clearly, except in the tunnels, but a slight crackling, due probably to the electric signals, has not yet been eliminated.
