Prices for both butter and. cheese dropped to new low levels during the week that has passed. On the Lopdon markets New Zealand butter was quoted at from 104 s for first grade to 110 s for finest new season. This is approximately a decrease of 4s on prices ruling last week. Australian butter has also fallen as low as 100 s to 104 s and Danish has decreased about -s on the previous week’s quotations, ihe market has been very qtnet during the. week and selling has been slow, Very similar tendencies have been operating in the cheese markets, and although prices for the Canadian nr duct have not fallen very much, both New Zealand coloured and white have dropped is.
