YOUNG CHEMIST CHARGED. EXTRADITION FROM SYDNEY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Nov. 17. In the Auckland Magistrate’s Court to-day Dougald Crawford, aged 23,' a chemist, was remanded till November 24 on a charge of obtaining £lOO as agent for the New Zealand Petrol Company by falsely representing that he was selling to the company a certain formula and process, this being valueless. Accused was arrested in Sydney, and arrived by the Niagara on extradition. Bail was allowed in £5OO, or two sureties of £250.
