WETHER MUTTON TRICES WEAKER New Zealand lamb market: Is steady but quiet. Consumption still good for time of year. N.Z. mutton market: Wethers, prices are slightly weaker. Ewe mutton meeting a little more inquiry. N.Z. beef market: Affected owing to heavier supplies of Argentine chilled beef.. N.Z. porker pigs: Good demand for lightweights but heavyweights neglected.• N.Z. baconer pigs: No demand from bacon curers, but selling slowly as heavy pork. The above report was received on Saturday by tlie New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board from its London office, which advise- that the following are the approximate average prices realised for the week ended November 13, based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities .of . the descriptions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smithfield market and/or ex London stores.
