MOST UNSATISFACTORY
A TAILOR’S BANKRUPTCY. CREDITORS QUESTION POSITION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. , Auckland, Last Night. “It is quite obvious that the whole circumstances of this bankruptcy are most unsatisfactory,” said the Official Assignee, Mr. A. W. Watters, at an adjourned meeting of creditors of Philip Schneideman, tailor, now of Christchurch and formerly resident in Auckland. It was decided that, subject to the expenses not being above £2O, the Official Assignee be asked to have |he bankrupt medically examined to ascertain whether, as had been represented-— he was unfit to travel to Auckland to undergo examination. A sub-commit-tee was appointed to obtain contributions from creditors towards the co?t of the medical examination and travelling charges provided a doctor decides that bankrupt may undertake the journey.
