afternoon for Auckland. (U.S.S, Co.). The Totara left Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Nelson. She is due at New Plymouth on Sunday. (U.S.S. Co.). The Kaituna, from Grcyinouth with ten tons of poles and 250 tons of coal, is due at New Plymouth to-morrow, and will proceed later to Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.). The John left Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth, where she is due tomorrow, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. (Hooker Bros.). The Hauturu is due at New Plymouth this morning with 110 tons of cargo from Onehunga, which port she left at 3.30 yesterday afternoon. She will return north in the afternoon. (Northern Co.). The Opihi will load at Dunedin today- for New Plymouth via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. From New Plymouth she will proceed to Westport. (U.S.S. Co.). ROTORUA FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. The Union Company advises that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua is scheduled to leave London on April 1 for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Kurow is scheduled to load at Adelaide about the middle of this month and she will complete loading at Melbourne and Devonport (Tasmania) for- Auckland, New Plymouth, Tarakohe, Wellington and Lyttelton. She may also call at Hobart before proceeding to Adelaide. . BARRDALE FROM .OCEAN ISLAND. The steamer Barrdale arrived at Auckland from Ocean Island, yesterday morning. The vessel will unload 4700 tons of phosphates for Auckland. The remainder of her phosphate cargo,. 3000 tons, will be unloaded, at New Plymouth. HERTFORD .AT WELLINGTON. To continue her homeward loading to the agency of the New .Zealand Shipping Company the Federal steamer Hertford arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton on Wednesday. She is to leave Wellington again oh Sunday for Napier, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland to fill up, and is now scheduled to clear the northern port on November 20 for London, via the Panama Canal. The vessel carries dairy produce from New Plymouth. . PORT BRISBANE FOR LONDON. After loading at New Zealand ports the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Brisbane is f scheduled. to leave Wellington to-day for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. The vessel carries butter and 5000 crates of cheese from New Plymouth. , GOLDEN WEST DISCHARGING. The American steamer Golden West was scheduled to leave Wellington yesterday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Nelson, New Plymouth and Gisborne to complete Unloading cargo from Pacific Coast ports. FERNDALE ON SUNDAY. The Aberdeen-Commonwealth steamer Ferndale was expected to leave Lyttelton for Port Chalmers and New Plymouth on Thursday to complete unloading cargo from London. The vessel is due at New Plymouth about Sunday to load 10,000 boxes of butter and to discharge 2000 tons of cargo, SOLOX COMPLETES. The Norwegian motor-ship Soloy was expected to complete unloading harclwood from Bunbury at Auckland yesterday afternoon when she w;as to be dispatched for Rabaul tq load, a copi’a cargo for Los Angeles and San Francisco. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tongariro, which is due at Auckland from Liverpool -at noon today, will unload her general merchandise fargo at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. After completion of discharge the vessel will load for her homeward voyage at Bluff, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, ‘New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier and Auckland. .She is scheduled to sail from Auckland for England on December 23. The vessel is due at New Plymouth on December 10. PORT NICHOLSON TO DOCK. The CommonVvealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Nicholson arrived at Port Chalmers from Bluff on Wednesday to dock for repairs to her rudder. After the work is finished she .will proceed to Nelson to complete unloading cargo from London. For her homeward voyage the vessel is to load at Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland.
