YOUTHS OBTAINED LIQUOR.

On the evening of . Labour Day a con? stable was attacked and injured by s number of young men. In consequence of a thorough round-up four , men are spending a month in gaol- and three have been fined- £5- . -> • - . ; Of- the three one spent eight days m gaol on remand. v During the -hearing of the cases today the-magistrate commented strongly on the fact that accused, several of Whom were under 21, had, obtained liquor at a hotel.
