Hill is two days ahead of Hinkler’s time. He said he hoped to reach Darwin on Friday. He made a night flight from Rangoon to Singapore, arriving at 10 o'clock in the morning.
Wing-Commander Kingsford Smith left Rangoon for Singapore at 3.50 this morning. .-«.•* Mr. Oscar Garden, one-time of Christchurch, left Croydon at 6 o’clock this morning for Australia. _ Captain Matthews arrived at Bima today and will leave for Atamboea tomorrow. A later message says Wing-Command-er Kingsford Smith arrived at Singapore at 6.30 p.m. to-day.
