AUSTRALIAN LOAN IN VIEW £27,000,000 CONVERSION ISSUE PROPITIOUS TIME AWAITED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Oct. 16. The acting-Federal Treasurer, Mr. J. A. Lyons, has announced that as soon as the time was considered propitious a conversion loan of £27,000,000 would be placed on the Australian market. This is the amount of Commonwealth State borrowings falling due in December.
