St'. .Paul’s Presbyterian-Church, Christchu r ch, was the scene, of. a pretty-wed-ding,'on October 8; when Agnes Jessie, third daughter of Mr.' J- Manson, and the late-Mrs. Manson, Tangarakau; was married to J-fmeg, younger ■ son of Mr. and Mrs. .M. Christensen, Marton. The Rev. W. Bower-Black officiated. The brjde, who entered the chufeh on the arp. of her father, wore a frock of ivory ' satin,’ with slir? fitting bodice, long pointed. sleeve?,'\ and. fully-flared skirt, fal.ing ito the ankles. . 'Her veil.of embroidered tplle was worn, off tire face, caught with orange' blosso’ip buds across the head, and, clusters at the sides, bhe carried an armlet.of .choice white flowers. Powder blue georgette patterned in autumn tpnes was the. choice of the bribe’s sister, Mrs. H- T. .Watters, matron of honour,.and Miss Maureen Camp-J bell, attendant maid. Their frocks were made alijee with- long pointed sleeves, ipset'in the .fitting bodices, and softly-, flared skirts falling from a shaped' hip line---' Hats- of powder blue felt, with drooping brims of' silk ( cririoline straw and tuile'were: worn and] posies.-oLprim-roses' and.‘tuUps-coihpleted their toilettes. The bridegroom was attended by . Mr. S C. Mansonj frother of the bride, asbest ■ man, and Mr. -A. T. Watters groomsman.' Guests subsequently gath-ered-at Dixieland, being received by. Mrs. J. May, who wore a distinctive frock of navy:‘crepe- fie. chine,|• relieye'd . with leipori, a-navy felt hat and a fox fur. Her bouquet Was ’ composed ' of. pansies, spring flowers', and fern. She was as; Sisted by Mrs. L. Osborn, who . was in a frock-, of .almond green celanese, a small- nayy-.hat .and a light black coat; she carried, a -bpiiquet in tones of lemon and green. .; . -"7 When, leaving on the honeymoon, which .is to be'spent-touring-.the North Island,- the bride wore .a .frock- of..navy chiffon velvet patterned.in soft' shades of pink, fawn and; green,.', and made with two;'tiered.flared skirt, a'w.ide hat of navy pandan straw, relieved'' across the back with a spray of petals shaded to match her frock,.and a coat of coney seal, trimmed with skunk fur collar and cuffs, completed the toilette.
