ASSOCIATION SEEKS ENGLISH AID. I

The Council of the New Zealand 1 oov ball Association met to-night to dea with minor matters cropping up at we close of tiic season, and will fiom n> on only meet as occasion requires. Canterbury Football Association wrote that it was desirous of raising money to pay off mortgages on English Bara, as the mortgagees were pressing the committee had decided to write to the English Football Association for a loan io achieve that end and a sub-comm.Uee had been appointed to supply the necessary particulars to the English body.. The council gave its approval to the slops proposed to be taken.
