The name of the ship, Bahariston, has hitherto not been disclosed owing to fear of piracy. •Sir Denison Ross says that the value of the collection is incalculable. Some of the exhibits date from 2CO B.C. They include the Crown jewels of Persia aS well as ornaments said to have belonged to Haroun al-Raschid, famed in the Arabian’ Nights.
