DAIRY PRODUCE MARKET. * I (By Wire—Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. The London office of Amalgamated Dairies cables that the firm’s butter is selling at 118 s with the market steadier and with rather more inquiry. Recently arrived finest is quoted at 114 s, stored finest at 112 s and Danish at 140 s. Coloured cheese is quoted at 68s to 61)8 and white at 70s to 725. Coloured is still slow of sale but there is a better inquiry for white, Canadian is quoted at 76s to 78s for spot and 738 c.i.f., but there is little inquiry. The retail position is unchanged.
