Royal assent has been given to -the Crown Remedies Act which will pave the way for civil action against E. G. Theodore, former Queensland' Premier and Federal Treasurer, and others for the recovery of money alleged to have been paid by the Queensland Governmnt for the Mungana mine leases. A Royal Commission which inquired into the "'sales recently made grave allegations against Mr. Theodore.
