Figure© for the overseas trade of New Zealand for August, 1939, show export© valued at £1,801,632, and import© £4,054,974. Figures for the corresponding, period of 1929 were £2,580,S6O and £4,275,000 respectively For the period of eight months ended August, 1930, exports totalled £35,057,065 and imports £29,637,230. For the corresponding period last year the figures were £43,072,236 and £31,272,095 respectively.
