CARDS AT INGLEWOOD
FIRE STATION CRIBBAGE MATCH. A cribbage match was played between a team from the fire police and honorary members of the brigade and a team from the bacon factory and citizens at the Inglewood fire station on Tuesday. The latter team won by 27 points to 22. Following are the details, with the bacon factory and citizens’ team mentioned first:—Lucas and Bishel 10 v. Manby and D. Allen 2; W. Julian and Rosewarne 4 v. Devereux and King 8; S. Allan and Hanwright 6 v. Spurdie and Evetts 7; Lawson and Bublitz 7 v. Burnip and Kennedy 5.
