A HINT ON CALF-FEEDING.
Dairy farmers should feed their calves according to their several capacities. They are better just a little hungry than overfed. Commence with 3to 5 quarts of the mother’s milk per day, in two meals. Increase gradually to from 4 to 6 quarts until the end of the fourth week, when separated milk and “Tui” Calfmeal should be fed.
