Mr. J. S. Elliott, New Plymouth, left ./ Auckland by the Niagara yesterday en route to British Columbia on business. Lord Bledisloe will leave Wellington for Christchurch on Friday evening and on Saturday will open the new Plunket rooms and new Baptist Church there, states a Press Association message. ■; ' ■ Mr. A. E. R. Gilbert will leave New Plymouth this morning for Wellington. He will be away three or four days. . Messrs. E. B. S. Hill (Auckland), Ml Henderson, W. S. K. Wright (Wallington) and G. M. Page (Hawera) are among the guests at the Criterion, New Plymouth. Guests at the Hotel Imperial, New Plymouth, are Messrs. W. Johnson, N. Svenson, J. Cochran, A. Gray, Wanganui, R. Batchelor, P. Rabone, Palmerston North, W. Maule, F. Driller, J. Aicken, J. Gunnison, L. A. Bird, Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. R. Brown, Wellington, Mr. E. Wilkinson, Auckland, Mr. H. C. Frost, Auckland.
