ACTIVITIES FOR SOME YEARS. CASE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Sept. 23. ' Charged with using a dwelling in Vascal Street as a common ganiing house, Alfred Dewar pleaded guilty and was fined £5O. The police stated that defendant had been betting for some years. He took as much as £5O a day during important face meetings.
