PROVISION OF EMPLOYMENT. •’SHIPS BEING RECOMMISSIONED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, September 18. Although there will still be ma.ny compelled to remain ashore, the position in regard to the seamen anjd stewards thrown out of work by the wreck of the Tahiti and laying up of a number of cargo’ vessels, will be somewhat relieved during the next few! days when die Marama and the colliers Kartigi and Kaimird are recommissioned. On the Marama, besides Captain Toten, will be two deck officers from the Tahiti and a number of the crew and stewaids. The position will be further improved when the new Monowai enters the San Francisco service in November.-
