Barton, to-dav at an inquest concerning the death of John Mclnnes, wharf labourer, who died on September 7 as the result of injuries received through being struck by a motor-car in Jervois Quay on August 16.' , Sub-Inspector . After evidence had been 1 heard the coroner returned a verdict that deceased died from head injuries, including lacerations of the brain, sustained by being' knocked down by a motor-ear in Jervois Quay, the driver of the car being unknown.
