Sinclair, discussed the advisability of rebuilding tlie pavilion that was burned. • /, . A decided opinion was held by several members that the : society slrnild hot rebuild a pavilion_ as past experience did not .warrant the; society’s catering for a general tourist' trade. The society pro-. ferred that, private enterprise should undertake the scheme. Mr.' Gbrtinge, of the Agri/ cultural •Department, addressed tin meeting on pig-raising.. The'prize-winners at St. Patrick’s hail euchre, party on Friday evening were: Mrs. D. Ross (I|, Mrs. D. J. Thomas (2), Eric Alagee (f), -Ain R. E. Peat (2). The winners of a special prize were Misses Mollie -Butler and Wickens and Mersts. Roy Geqrge and M. Brennan. Supper was.provided by the Oaonui and Pihania ladies. .
