In the semi-finals Mrs. Morrill and Shields defeated Miss Nuthall and Lott g—2, 6 —4; M-iss Cross and Allison defeated Mrs. Corbiers and Mercur 6 —3, G—4.

Edith Cross and Allison won the national mixed doubles, defeating Marjorie Morrill and Frank Shields 6—4, 6 —4. At Forest Hills. Wood and Neer defeated OUiff and Perry G—3. 7—5. Mines and Keith Gledhill defeated Lee and L. A. Godfree 6—3, 6—2. Ellsworth Vines (California) defeated P. .1. Perry B—6, 10—12, 6—2. Sidney Wood (New York) defeated J. 11. OUiff 3—G, 6—3, 6—4, clinching the series for the United States. At Brookline in the final Misses Nuthall and Marlowe defeated Sarah and Mianne Palfrey 6 —4, 6—3. In the doubles -final Lott and Docg defeated Van Ryn and Allison B—6, 6—3, 4—6, 13—15, 6—L
