The election of five members of the Waverley Town Board will take place on September 17, and nominations will be received till September 2. BRIGHT MUSICAL COMEDY. Irene Bordoni, famous French comedienne, and Jack Buchanan, England’s handsome musical comedy star, appear together in “Paris,” which is partly filmed in technicolour. Comedy, lavish spectacle, glorious costumes and harmonious hues in soft reds, blues and greens, purple and in silver and gold sheens, are a fitting bockgiound for Miss Bordoni’s personality. Her -French accent mingles charmingly, while -Zasu Pitts, in her inimitable comic style, supplies part of the rich humour. Paris will be screened to-night, to-morrow night and Saturday, with a special matinee on Saturday at 2.30 p.m.
