HOUSEOWNER’S DIFFICULTY
BUILT AGAINST THE BY-LAWS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Aug. 13. A house-owner In the Lower Hutt Borough will find herself in an awkward position owing to her neglect of the bylaws. She recently built a house without obtaining a permit and then, through a solicitor, asked permission to complete the drainage and plumbing work. Tho council took the view that to gra:-t the request would simply be condoning the' offence.
